Wave After Wave
When I began painting “Break Through,” I was imagining a wild ocean scene from C.S. Lewis’ The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. As soon as I laid down the underpainting, though, the canvas began telling a different story. Instead of crashing waves, this piece turned into a breath-taking sunrise over rippling water. Waiting on a break through? Sometimes the outcome is nothing like we imagined it would be when we began, but maybe it’s that much more beautiful because of it.
Originally painted with oil on canvas, this stunning giclee reproduction is available on certified archival fine art paper or archival stretched canvas. The giclee printing process ensures museum quality, fine art texture, and unmatched detail that will not fade over time.
Our fine art paper prints sized at 9×12” and under come matted with acid-free white mats and backboards and are wrapped in a crystal clear, protective sleeves. Larger sizes ship rolled.
Our canvas prints are stretched over a lightweight frame and come ready to hang upon delivery. They feature a scratch-resistant UV coating.
